A little about us

We look forward to meeting you and want to help you avoid that uncomfortable feeling. You know the feeling you get when you go someplace new. Churches have different traditions and ways of doing things, so below you'll find a few of the most common questions we've run into from people who are checking Living Christ out for the first time.

Worship Times: 8:00am (Traditional) and 9:30am (Contemporary).

What's a service like?
We have two types of services- traditional  and contemporary. You can expect a lot of music, ranging from traditional hymns to contemporary praise & worship songs, depending on the worship service you attend. Our traditional service uses liturgy and hymns. For all services the lyrics, readings and responses are projected on large screens. Communion is offered the 1st and 3rd Sundays of each month. The Pastor shares the same Message at both services.

What's the music like?
That depends on which service you attend. At the traditional service (8am) you'll hear organ-led hymns and occasionally the choir. At the contemporary service (9:30am) you'll hear praise & worship songs accompanied by piano, guitars and drums.

How do people dress?
"Come as you are". Wear what's comfortable to you.

Is there Education time on Sundays for children?
Yes there is! ---Kids Church is for Preschool-3rd grade children during part of the 9:30am worship service. The children hear a  Bible Story and there is time for Music! The children follow the leaders to the lower level just after the Kids Blessing during the service. Children are picked up after the service in the lower level classroom.

What about my kids?
If you've got them, bring them!  Children are a valuable part of our ministry here at Living Christ. The kids are absolutely welcome to join us in worship.  If you have specific questions, call the church office at 952-934-5110.  In the back of the sanctuary "Busy Bags" are available for the kids.

Communion?
Communion is offered the 1st and 3rd Sundays of each month. (wafers, gluten-free wafers, wine, grape juice).

How can I get connected? There are many ways you can get involved at Living Christ, or in our community with one of our Outreach Ministry partners. Call the church office at 952-934-5110 for more information.

Where do I park? There's plenty of parking in our lot and there are several designated handicapped spots.
