Jesus died to save all mankind from their sins.  He was hung on a wooden cross by those who were intimidated by His
message of love, by His ability to heal the sick, and by His teaching about the Kingdom of God.  Tonight we reflect on this most precious of gifts, this sacrifice of sacrifices, this love that is beyond any other love that we have or will ever know. We focus on “The Cost of Jesus’ Life.”

Easter Sunday Celebration- April 21
Worship at 8:00, 9:30 & 10:45am

Jesus rose from the dead on the Sunday following His death.  Even though the tomb had been ordered to be sealed by Pontius Pilate and a guard had been positioned at the site of the tomb, the stone covering the tomb was rolled away revealing that Jesus had risen from the dead.  Matthew records that the soldiers at the tomb were so frightened that they became as dead men.  Later they would report what had happened to the Sanhedrin and were given money to tell a different story to the people.  As the shock of the reality that Jesus had risen from the dead hit home for people we read that they reacted in varying ways.  Jesus’ rising from the dead meant that God had conquered sin and death.  The victory was won for all who believed in Jesus as their Savior.
