Pastor Todd Stocker

If I haven’t met you yet, I’m Pastor Todd Stocker. I am the Senior Pastor at Living Christ, having been installed July 2023.

 

A bit about me: I’m married to Kellie and have three grown children: Maddie, Nathan, and Makenzie (who is in heaven). Originally, I was in the business world, but for the last twenty-five years, I have been pastoring congregations, coaching and consulting leaders and ministries, and writing books and content to serve the church and people in general. I am a musician, love long-distance bicycling, and good food (who doesn’t?). My personal mission statement is to serve God by adding value and leadership to those around me. 

 

As we step into this next chapter of the story that God is writing at Living Christ, join me in praying for the church, the leadership, and what God has in store. See you Sunday! 

 

Holle Severson

I graduated from the University of Minnesota with a degree in Elementary Education.  Upon graduation I joined the staff of Campus Crusade for Christ and served in the campus ministry at Eastern Michigan University, Iowa State and the University of Minnesota.  Following my time on staff I worked at Crown College as the Director of Event Services.  While at Crown I earned a Master’s Degree in Ministry Leadership.  In 2005, I came to Living Christ and is currently working as the Director of Connection Ministry. My passion is to help people know God, grow deeper in that knowledge and live life discovering and using the gifts God has given them. I enjoy traveling, get-a-ways and heart-to-heart conversations with friends, reading, learning, days at the Arboretum and providing treats for all the little children who visit my office. 

 

Nancy Turnblad

I joined the staff at Living Christ in February of 2007. I currently serve as the Office Manager/Communications. I am a former Elementary and Middle School teacher having received my Bachelor's Degree from the University of Minnesota. Later I earned a Master's Degree in Elementary Education while teaching full-time in Edina. I enjoy traveling, crafts, reading, and spending time with my two adult children, other family, and friends. 

 

Dane Wolfgram
Director of Youth & Christian Education (DCE)

I am originally from Bismarck, ND, and was Installed as our Director of Youth & Christian Education on June 19, 2022. I served as our 2021-2022, Intern Director of Christian Education from Concordia University, Nebraska. In June of 2022, I completed my full Director of Christian Education certification along with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Theology. I enjoy photography, listening to folk and jazz music, and being in the great outdoors.  

 

Derek Bates

I'm Derek Bates. My heart is filled with a passion for leading worship and a deep love for Christ. Hailing from Canton, Ohio. I pursued my dreams of music obtaining my dual bachelor's degrees in Vocal Music Education and Vocal Performance from Crown College in St. Bonifacius, MN. In 2015, I had the privilege of interning at Living Christ Lutheran Church as the Choir Director and I am incredibly grateful to have returned as the Director of Music in 2021. Sharing my knowledge and love for music extends beyond Sunday services, I teach elementary music and theatre at Chapel Hill Academy. My wife, Bailey, and our 3-year-old daughter, Eloise, bring immeasurable joy to my life. Outside of my time as a music teacher and worship leader. I find enjoyment in activities like biking, gardening, jamming with my band, and exploring the art of cooking. I am forever grateful for the opportunity to lead worship weekly at LCLC and appreciate this community of believers who continue to inspire me on this journey of faith and music.
